Stories Served Warm returns as part of A Season of Arabic Culture, laying the table for City of London residents to come together for an afternoon sharing food, memory and music.
Marsm's own Khaled Ziada is back in the kitchen, cooking a menu drawn from the flavours of the Arabic-speaking world. Family recipes, childhood memories, grandma’s kitchens, and the little rituals that turn a meal into something worth remembering - a warm stew, bread to share and delectable nibbles and salads. As each dish reaches the table, he'll be sharing the memory or the story behind it. Expect warmth, generosity, and plenty of good conversation around the table.
There'll be live music too by Tarek Elzahary, and Backgammon with Sammir / Yallah Tawlah, so it's an afternoon for all. Bring your family and settle in with us for the afternoon.
Whether you're already familiar with Arabic cuisine or discovering it for the first time, there's a seat waiting for you. Come hungry, come curious and stay for the stories.
